The Differences In Insurance Plans

If you pet has not been vaccinated and in the event of a claim your pet has contracted one of the viruses that it could have been vaccinated against you would not be covered on the insurance policy and no benefits of the policy will be paid.

As with most types of insurance there is typically an excess to pay on pet insurance. An excess is the initial amount that you pay towards making a claim. The costs of this will be stipulated to you at the time of application and will also be backed up in your policy wording section of your pet insurance documents.

Most pet insurance providers automatically cover your per for third party liability. This is in case your pet is the cause of an accident or if it bit someone so that you are covered for any third party damage the pet may have caused, this is different to Critical Illness Cover
